DI810 3BSE008508R1 ABB Digital Input Module S800 I/O Series
Description:
The DI810 3BSE008508R1 is a digital input module of the ABB S800 I/O series, used to collect switch quantity signals from industrial sites. It converts the on-off states of devices such as buttons, limit switches, relay contacts, proximity sensors, etc. into logical signals that the control system can recognize, allowing the controller to understand in real time whether the on-site equipment is "on" or "off".
The DI810 3BSE008508R1 can provide 16 independent input channels, divided into two groups of 8 channels each, with isolation between the groups. Each group of channels is equipped with one process voltage monitoring, and it can report faults when the power supply is abnormal.

Product advantages:
The DI810 has 16 channels, divided into two isolated groups, with 8 channels in each group being independent of the other group and the backplane bus. Once a channel is disturbed or fails, the impact is confined to the group it belongs to and will not spread to the entire module or other devices. This is crucial for projects with complex field environments.
The DI810 has strong wiring compatibility and is not picky about sensors. One module can handle various types of equipment in the field and does not require separate modules for different sensors.
The signal processing of DI810 is reliable and has strong anti-jitter capability. It has built-in programmable input filtering, which can effectively eliminate the contact jitter of mechanical switches and the erroneous signals caused by electromagnetic interference.
Operating Instructions
Fault Troubleshooting: When there is no input signal on a certain channel, first use a multimeter to measure the voltage between the input terminal of this channel and the common terminal. If the voltage is normal (>15V) but the light does not light up, check the module channel; if the voltage is low (<15V), check the power supply of the on-site sensor or the line voltage drop. If multiple channels are abnormal at the same time, prioritize checking whether the COM (common terminal) is loose or the power supply is missing. When replacing the module, be sure to check if the firmware versions of the new and old modules are compatible.
