T8310C ICS Triplex Trusted series Expansion Processor Module
Description:
T8310C is an expansion processor module in the ICS Triplex Trusted series. It is installed in the designated slot of the expansion chassis for use. Its main function is to establish a data channel between the expansion chassis and the main controller, and to transfer the instructions from the main controller to various input/output modules within the expansion chassis.
The T8310C adopts a triple redundancy structure. Inside, three independent processing channels operate in parallel to simultaneously process and compare the same set of data. The module supports connecting multiple expansion chassis via copper cables or optical fibers. A single module can manage a large number of input and output signals of channels, making it suitable for industrial sites where safety interlock points are relatively scattered.
